Anybody been to the Casino down the Marina? What's it like? Always thought that the Marina was like the Vegas of Brighton...minus the legalised prostitution...but the 24 hour Asda is a huge leap forward. Might be worth a visit on a drunken night out (the Casino I mean, not Asda); as of this weekend the relaxation in the law means you can just walk/stumble in and play.

Probably so you don't just get pissheads rolling out the pub at closing time and walking into the nearest casino just to take advantage of the extended bar hours.

Well i went down there a few months ago and only got in cos my mate was a member. You can sign up (need id) and go in straight away(i think) It is nice inside you get very fit woman wearing next to nothing come up to you and ask you what drink you would like!

Ex wife is now a pit boss I gather at a well known West End Casino. The stories she used to come home with put me right off any sort of gambling, one vice I've not secumbed to.

They used to be able to let you in for a "one time only vist".

I have played poker at the one in the marina and it is not bad. They are very heavy on roulette though.

No im not a dealer I hold a non gaming role, the reason they are so heavy on roulette is because it has the highest house win percentage, now also casinos are allowed to have 3,000 pound fruit machines. And as mentioned before the 24 hour rule has been abolished and as an effect people can basically walk in off the street and go into the casino, providing they have the adequote I.D.

I've been a few times ever since it opened. It started off very classy with a strict dress code but now you can wear anything you want and it's just not as special as it should feel going to a casino.

But yes, the waitresses are quality birds wearing tight little dresses which is the only reason I go now.
