Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Plenty of players make the step up.

Other than Zamora, were any of our players of '02 'Championship Quality'? We didn't do a bad job in our first visit (despite being relegated) and we did a much better job a couple of years later.

The only way to find out is to give him a shot. I don't believe any of us are qualified to make a definite statement as to whether he is good enough or not.

Mayo looked fairly decent at times in the Championship.

Well Swansea didn't seem to think so...

The whole of Swansea or the management team in place at that particular time?

I seem to remember that he was highly rated, suffered a bad injury, and never managed to regain his place. Does that make him not good enough?

Besides, he is older now. He is settled in a team and he is doing well for us. Why not at the next step up?

Like the whole squad they play well to Gus's system, that's why he wont sell anyone in the 1st team squad.

Get off the players backs, not sure if anyone has noticed but The Albion are top of the league to achieve that you can't have any weak links.

I don't know - I'm sure Gus has a much better idea than any of us do! Personally, I think what we've got will do OK in the Championship, but if we want to progress onwards and upwards we'll have to get players in who are better than what we've got.
So if Gus spots a better left back who is available and will come to us, then so be it.
