Sporting Lisbon striker Cristiano Ronaldo will be presented as a new Manchester United player this week, according to Portuguese TV.
RTP claim the youngster's agent Jorge Mendes has met United officials and struck a deal to bring the 18-year-old to Old Trafford.
The reports say that the player could be formally presented as early as Tuesday and that he will get a five-year contract.
The deal is said to be worth 12 million euros (£8.5million) to the Portuguese outfit.
Sporting Lisbon president Antonio Dias de Cunha will not confirm or deny the reports while United also declined to comment.
United and Sporting had earlier this year agreed a partnership deal.
