True fans watch their heroes on TV. Most Albion fans just follow "their club" because it happens to be local. That's just unimaginative. Albion fans just don't have any grasp of the scale of the world of sport. Pathetic, really.

I've never seen Mike Cavendish race his bike. That didn't stop me voting for him as Sports Personality of the Year, once I'd been told what he'd achieved.

As for some man united fans, who dont even bother watching their team play when there live on sky and dont even check their results, these type of united fans are hard to talk to about football.
