no if you are not a colour coded member you might get lucky in the general sale,if any left. barnet tickets count for nothing. you and me in the same boat mate.

ask insider if they will give you any priority but i doubt it.

White do not get priority, do they?

Did Insider answer the query about a Gully's Gang/Team Stripe member who needs a chaperone who is not a member of a scheme? Edit: According to the seagulls homepage "Must be accompanied by a Blue member".

realistically we are gonna get f***ed by city.

if i get a ticket fine but i aint gonna loose any sleep over missing out, i go to footie to see the albion win not because i am in awe of some overated premiershit
also rans

I don't think that a truly "general sale" is planned.

After gold, it's kids who have signed up to one of the two new schemes, blue members, and then other people who are already on the Club's database.

true and i know a wet spam fan who got to both the wet spam and spurts games on tickets obtained by a season ticket holder.

this is the way it has always been.

put an application in in case the general sale does happen(once season ticket holders, who didnt bother with barnet) have sorted their friends out

It's my understanding that white (away) membership and Barnet stubs count for nothing.

As for junior seagulls, seems priority only effectively kicks in if accompanying adult is a blue member.

I refuse to pay £30 for blue membership that basically just gives a place at the head of the glory hunters queue. A points system based on number of games attended should kick in after the STH's have rightly been given 1st dibbings.

Mind you, the club have said that after the priorities dates have passed, "applications will be invited from those already on the existing data base"

1066 - I goto 99% of weekend home matches but not many midweek games.

I pay £30 a year for my blue membership and both my kids are in Gullys Gang.

I've supported the albion for 30 years so I can't see what the problem is if blue members get priority over Non STH's?

But your credentials as a "99% of weekend home matches" and supporter of 30 years should count for far me than a willingness to stump up an addittional £30 for blue membership.

Does the midweek fixture mean your £30 for Man City priority has been wasted though ? ;)

But seriously, under a points system the likes of you and I wouldn't need to pay £30 extra as our regular attendance throughout the season would bring it's own rewards.

P.S. Any chance of quoting me as Familyman rather than just 1066 ? I don't want to be confused with another poster on here :D

There will never be a perfect system for tickets when it's a 'big' game. To give the club some credit here-they have ensured STH's get first refusal which is how almost every other club in the country does it. Then the various memberships kick in and again to their credit, the Blue membership was introduced by the Albion to stop the 'big game only Charlies' from getting tickets ahead of people who regularly watch the club. They will never be able to keep everybody happy when tickets are in short supply. Thankfully, Wembley has an increased capacity these days so when we go there twice this season we'll all get tickets...

A points system is unworkable at the moment as has been explained numerous times-except for home games and if you attend most home games, why not get a season ticket?

But it won't, if any old sailor can purchase them. It would work if you were to EARN a Blue Membership through attendance, but the club do not seem to be capable of totting up who buys how many tickets.

I normally attend 20+ home league ties and all the cup ties, but a season ticket is not appropriate. My old man normally watches 12-15 league games and a handful of cup ties and it is far too much hassle to for me to buy a season ticket and then ensure that we are sitting together etc. Last minute changes etc. etc.

Agreed.

Same as me regards a season ticket too, only as I've said before, it's my mum who comes with us.

Just had a thought as a 'best of both worlds' regarding blue membership.

How about you still have to pay £30 for it but get the £30 credited back to your account if you attend more than a certain number of home games ?

That would put off the 'big time charlies' AND ensure the regulars get their just rewards without the liberty of the £30 as it stands at the mo.
