The 72 football league teams won't have it. Yea the big prem teams might but not the rest. Won't happen! And if it does I will probably find a new sport as it will affect the Albion. In Spain the B teams can't be promoted if the A team is already in la liga.

I thought the same about the new academy system that came in. Then the big clubs blackmailed the football league and through it went.

Exactly this. Unfortunately I don't think the rest of the football league will have much of a say when the bigger clubs want something to happen

Anything that might assist in developing young English players to the standard so regularly seen in other countries should be applauded, frankly. And yes, I'm aware they will no doubt recruit youngsters from abroad too.
