To be honest the reason I would rather see Arsenal win the league over Chelsea is that Arsene Wenger has worked hard for years to assemble a team and as far as I can recall the biggest fee they've spent on a single player is the £20 million (Is that right?) they forked out for Reyes last year. The rest of their stars came on free's or were less known when signed so cost far less than they are now worth.
Didn't Henry come in as an exchange for Anelka or someone?

Chelsea on the other hand are buying their way to success, and I think eventually it will work if they stick at it, but this isn't really good for the game is it? It just puts everyone elses hard work out the window.

Granted Chelsea are maybe due a little success having not won a title for many many moons but for the time being let Arsenal have their moment. They're a damned good team playing football which is a credit to the English Premiership. Why we can't all be happy for them I don't know (Tottenham fans excluded).

At any rate, they are stopping those Northern nancy boys from the glory they no longer deserve and that makes me happy. For as long as Wenger is winding up Ferguson long may it continue.

I really really really really really really really hate Manchester United

I agree. Not to mention Arsenal's style of football is very easy on the eye, and it's the way the game should be played. I've had enough of the drab excuse for football that is dished out by the likes of Mourinho and Santini. Any success for them and more managers in England will try and apply similar boring tactics, and that can't be good for the game.
