I may have got the jist of this thread wrong, but I couldn't care less about how comfortable the visiting fans feel, it's the away players that we should be intimidating, not their fans.

Fortress Falmer Foo Fighters For Fun say lets put some more high metal barriers up in front of each row at the front of each row in each stand, and hand out coloured smoke grenades for lobbing at the oposition manager and away team player's bench. Build a moat around the pitch and put some sharks in it (Rory Delap - lets eat your heart out!). For matches that are not televised, lets mount some machine guns where the TV camaras would have been, and train them on the opposition players and fans.

It's never going to be HOSTILE. For this is Good Old Sussex By The Sea after all. And we're all nice people. But it CAN be made Noisy As HELL - which would be the next best thing. IMHO, like.

I am sure I remember some opposing manager's saying that the withdean was very hostile when we were promoted previously . Zamora era. THE WITHDEAN for christ sake. I just think that was on account of all the miserable gits moaning at the linesman. I think we have a duty to make it as noisy as possible.

I for one truly believe in the crowd / 12th man stuff. Can make an epic difference. So the question is, how much do you want us to win ?.

Pointless. Would have to apply for planning permission for change of use, which would take ages, especially if we want dungeons etc. I vote we keep it as a football stadium.
