So it's roughly 15 quid for a 2 course meal in a portacabin(allowing for a 2 pound premium for N. Stand seat prices)?

Bet there'll be a stampede to book for that:nono:

I think you're being a tad cynical here... do you expect the club to do it all at cost price? They are providing a package which adds value to the individual elements involved, and as such are free to charge for this. I think it sounds a pretty decent deal...

I think it pretty good value and how many of us dont spend £30 at a game if we take into account season ticket / or ticket / programme / junk food / other tat ??

I think access to the bar before the game, at half-time and after is well worth a few quid.

Think how much match sponsors pay for similar - works out at about £220 per person, and for that you get a sit down meal and the chance to name the man of the match.

£30 looks good value to me, even considering the fixture itself.

Applied for tickets already - can't do a sit down meal etc. Night games are invariably a mad dash home and a quick prayer that Southcentral might run the train home only 10 minutes late.

Just noticed the following on Bury's website - makes our 'package' look a shams and a rip off :

LDV Vans Round Two Special VIP Package

Car Park Pass
Bucks Fizz reception
Superb 4-course pre match MEAL in Starkies restaurant - pitchside
Full bar facilities before and after match
Complimentary match programme
Half time refreshments
Fun quiz and competitions
Reserved Main Stand seat for the big game

How much ???

TWENTY QUID!!!!!

Bury are a club in a far worse state than we are, yet they offer Heaven compared to our mediocrity. Falmer cannot come soon enough.
