Don't know if this made the national news, but currently on in London.

(I've been out the country for two weeks)

Crude Mail bombs containing Lighter Fuel and an undisclosed white powder have been delivered to a total of 14 addresses in Luton.

Wierd thing is that they seemed to be random addresses and the police are bemused to the motive.

AS some of you know the work I do.

If there was a specific threat we would know pretty shapish.

As at now, we are on medium alert( which is that there is a percieved threat from terrorist action but nothing specific) Although it may sound trite, do remember to keep your wits about you and most importantly, look out for holdalls/bags/backpacks left around with no apparent owner. This is how the Madrid bombings happened and the announcements at Railway Stations/Tube stations etc are not to be taken lightly.

As someone said, we have still not been hit in the UK thanks to the sterling work by the security forces, this should not lead to complacency.

BTW one of the "cells" arrested a few weeks ago is rumoured to have been planning the destruction of a London Stadium, thought to be Highbury.

That turned out to be a group of pissed-up Spurs fans in the pub after the Birmingham game though.

An attack on Luton is more likely to be from one of our many friendly fascist groups no?

Doesn't seem to be. The old dear interviewed on the telly last night looked very Anglo Saxon.

Seems to be a nutter..
