Obviously I don't agree with what 1066 said but I don't see the point in being too hard on him.
He's a new fan who's been to about 10-ish games who knows very little about our history, our board mismanagement and debt problems in the 1980s, the loss of control to the club to asset strippers in the 1990s, the partial recovery under Dick Knight at the end of the 1990s etc.
Fans like 1066 have no context in which to frame their disappointment over days like today, so naturally they lash out at the obvious, the public face of the Albion like McGhee.
I don't have any big problem about that. If guys like 1066 stick around a bit longer, they'll learn it's not as simple as that and the lack of money we have provides a more rounded or structural explanation to the problems we've had this season than the easy cheapshots at individuals.
What really puzzles and disappoints me is fans who are aware of our problematic history and still look for simple-minded scapegoats. No, these are the people who are genuinely beyond hope and are very worrying
