He tookover a team dropping after Coppell left and without Henderson and Rodger and then took us up and kept us up. Maybe towards the end he lost the plot a bit but he still achieved a lot with the club and selling our best players did not help. Would anyone have given a second thought if Virgo had been let go during the first half of the play off year. Yet we got £1.5 million for him in the end.
Wilkins is doing a good job but I bet you were one of the people having a go at him after Blackpool. I was just gutted that we were doing so poorly and am really pleased that we have improved. Unlike some people on here I would never want Brighton to lose whoever the manager was.
Why not just accept that McGhee gave us some good times and then lost it a bit, get over your bitterness and get a life!!!
