So your saving £40 by doing it yourself ???
For just such a small saving I would rather not have the hassle.

I guess that's why you are still a programme seller.

Must admit I thought it was a pretty good deal, but I didn't realise flights were not included until I read this thread.

Thanks, with both games being night games, what is the transport like around there?

No problem, the metro will run till late as will buses. Much better public transport infrastructure than around Jerez last year.

Madrid metro info here http://www.metromadrid.es/en

And 8:30 pm doesn't count as a night game. Night games are 10:30, 11:00 pm or even later. This is an early evening game, most people will be having a siesta till about 18:00 or so.

Never mind cashews it's pistachios that break the bank!

It's the cost of processing cashews and pistachios that makes them so costly, TBF, the prices are probably about right.

It's because I'm a programme seller that I don't have to worry about small amounts of money.
Why would anyone want to do a DIY package just to save a few quid. Life's too short.

I've just seen the official prices

85 euros for tapas? Sure that's not 8.5 euros? You'll get free tapas here with your beer!

52 euros for the Bernabeu tour? Unbelievable! I've been quoted 24 euros including an English speaking guide as long as we can get a group together.

180 euros per night for two people? Do you want to rent the room, or buy it? Anybody who pays more than 60 euros a night top whack for a double room in Madrid in high summer needs their head examining.

Unbelieveable. Who came up with those prices?

And don't blame Barber, the club have clearly farmed the package out. next year they can farm it out to me, I'll do it for less than half the price and still make a fat profit.

And you get smart ass northerners, flying out for £35, via 6 airports, that takes 4 days.

This is to throw the authorities off the scent of their banning orders though.
