[Albion] Mac Allister: “I’m always trying to improve at a great club who are growing”

Ok - I think nowdays with players on 40k a week , they will want a nice house in a good area .

They do after a few weeks. You said none of them live at the Marina and I pointed out the club owned a flat there for newcomers to use before they settle.

The club almost certainly have a ‘relocation specialist’ - either directly employed, or through a specialist firm. They’ll have various accommodation options for the lad and will sort it all out for him.......along with moving his stuff, bank accounts, tax etc etc. Usually would have initial short term accommodation (serviced flat typically - quite possible the club have a few properties precisely for this reason) before making a longer term choice. Wouldn’t mind betting he’ll end up in a nice pad in the marina like a few others seem to have done recently.

The club have several player liaison officers, who usually are required to have a second language, who do a lot of this. Basically they act as PAs to the players' families and sort out the things that need sorting out (such as cleaners, tradesmen, schools, healthcare etc).

A lot of them seem to have housekeepers as well . The ones that live in decent sized houses in Hove etc . They do all their washing / ironing & keep the house clean .

At the marina ! Really . I know where 7 of the team live - Central Hove , Hove Park & Hurstpierpoint. I don’t know any that live in the marina .

Whoever's living in Hove Park needs to get a new, better paid, contract sorted pronto. That's OUTRAGEOUS – especially in these cold times

According to my player liaison mate the parking tickets are a nightmare

Fair few live (or at least used to live) in Shoreham. Either on the beach or at Ropetackle. Suppose it makes the journey to work much quicker.
