Who makes the decision to call it a day?
Do both captains have to agree?
Always used to be but god knows they keep changing the rules
It's good to see that Surrey have held on to their Top Eight position in the table.

England Twenty20 international Wright, starting the day on 48, was in determined mood and added 159 for the fifth wicket with Ed Joyce (98), who fell to Tim Murtagh, and then a further 101 for the eighth wicket with Tim Beer (39).
No, it's never been both captains have to agree. What if Middlesex had wanted 5 to win with 8 overs to go? Sussex wouldn't have wanted that.
If one captain wants to play on, then they play on.
Sorry you are wrong.
16.2.6
Law 16.6, 16.7, 16.8 will apply except that a minimum
of 16 overs shall be bowled in the last hour, and all
calculations with regard to suspensions of play or the
start of a new innings shall be based on one over for
each full 3 minutes 45 seconds. If, however, both
captains (the batsmen at the wicket may act for their
captain) accept that there is no prospect of either side
achieving a victory, they may agree to finish the match
at any time after the scheduled time for the
commencement of the last hour has been reached
(regardless of the number of overs remaining to
be bowled).
Both captains or their representatives have to agree.
and if anyone hasn't watched this, watch it. It's terrific
