I really think he would be a good signing for us & a realistic one too. We don't have anyone with his technical ability on the ball & our set piece play would really benefit. I know others on here think he's past it - too old, no pace - but that's never been his game & look at Forster! I only hope he doesn't play too well in this game & put himself top of someone else's shopping list, because I genuinely think he's one of Dick's "fantasy 5". If he's not, he should be.

He is playing really well. I'm sure we're interested, it's been long established, but that is what worries me slightly, if it was going to happen would it not have done so before now?

Was just coming on here to put a thread about this. Im sorry but to anybody saying 'he's got no pace anymore', i couldnt care less. His passing and crossing has been immense and thats the sort of player we need to supply our strikers. How many times do you see Cox or Robinson running down the wing and delivering a god awful ball into the box or just trying to run it in themselves? Countless. Cox is too ineffective on the left wing as he clearly has no left foot, he has to cut inside to put it on his right everytime. Surely worth an enquiry! Luton would probably let us have him on a free to release some money off the wage bill for Gods sake.
