I'm not sure that I get what all the fuss is about. He seems to have an uncanny knack of finding space and is pacy, but then seem to invariably fling in a cross without looking up which almost always finds no-one. Then he gets taken off after an hour. Am i missing something?

I stand corrected! Awesome today. Best player on the pitch

To me Lua Lua runs aimlessly down to the corner flag and then doesnt get the ball into the box enough.

Don't pensioners get free eyetests?

As I said in another thread, he was successfully doing this all game. The sad thing is, there was nobody in the 18 yard area in a blue and white shirt to provide an end product.

Should he not pick out a player ina a blue and white shirt and pass it to him rather than as I said aimlessly pump balls into the box with no end product. He is very exciting seeing him go outside players but that is where his game finishes if it didnt he wouldnt be playing for us but Newcastle.

I'd like to see him running through the middle a bit more

That would probably bring about more free kicks jusr outside the box as he would frighten the average central defender in this division just imagine him running throught the middle at Elphick El Abd or Virgo.

As I have said many times we need another Chippy or Dodge who can support the strikers and still add a bit of steel in midfield.

Sean Thornton of Orient would do.

Lua Lua was miles better than Bennett today, his best game so far as ther end product was much improved. Bennett was decent from some free kicks and put some decent crosses in, but as teh game went on he failed to best the first man over and over again. Also Lua Lua put a decent shot ob target, Bennett was no where near.

We really need them both working well and we need them in teh box to receive when the other one is looking to cross, then we need a shot on target as a result.

Up here on the left.
With the speed he generates, I think he'd do better cutting in. If he arrived in the box at fuckety miles an hour, we might at least cause confusion and perhaps even get the odd penalty.

Better chance than Murray has of getting a penalty

Or should Murray try and get on the end of balls into the box rather than looking for the first opportunity to throw himself to the turf?
