I think Steve Coppell is respectful and does have integrity. After all, at least he's been honest with DK and said he'd like to speak to them. He hasn't met someone at a service station under cover of darkness.
I know the fans pay the wages (to a point) but that's what I'm saying; the loyalty is for fans, after all you don't get many fans changing their allegiance; but for those who are employed in football, it is exactly that, employment.
I think it's fair to say that players and managers do get caught up in the 'feel' of a place and feel an affinity with the others at the club and the fans - but if it all goes pear shaped the clubs waste no time in getting rid, so the boss has to pick up the pieces and start again.
And as they said on Talksport the other week when talking about Pardew, you move when you're hot; not when you're not!
