How do you arrive at that figure then?
We could win it with 75, or come third with 85.

Just plucked that number out the air as it seems low.
Just think the standard I have seen bar 30 mins of Southampton has been very very average. Also look at the number of games everyone has lost, the top end quality just isn't there IMO.
I agree it's more exciting and the weaker the better if it means we can get outta here

If nobody added to their squads - possibly.
If we got up , I'd fancy us to do OK with the new stadium and a tad more investment

Brighton fans in being negative even when their team is top of the league shocker...never ceases to amaze me how some Albion fans can find a negative whatever the club does. The most exciting era in the clubs history ever and we are being set up as being a bit shite.

I dont see how you can say that the standard is piss poor when teams like Norwich, Millwall and Leeds have gone up and all 3 of them at the top end of the championship, that shows that league one is as good as the championship well nearly as these teams doing similiar to what did last season in our league.

dunno , cant really judge on that as they all signed players and were much better than the rest in L1. Also Norwich came down and then walked it.
Just going on what I have seen really.

Calling it a piss poor league is one way of looking at it but on the other hand it could be seen as a very competitive league with many decent sides competing. When you look at Bournemouth and Hartlepool, two small sides it can be said they are more than holding their own and then you get Exeter knocking five past the preseason favourites Sheffield Wednesday is it really a poor league of actually a decent one ? Unlike the Premiership it's not down to a handful of clubs and whilst I'd love us to be promoted in March not such a bad thing to have such an open competition.

Being back in work today have been speaking to some of the Hudders fans, they were booing them off after the defeat to Hartlepool. As one of them put it too me "don't know why we bothered being your lot, waste of bloody time that was"

Its turned out to be be a very un-predictable league, which makes it all the more compelling. The January transfer window for this league I think will prove more critical than ever. Due to Chelsea's current demise, if Bolton win tonight they leap frog them into 5th spot and for once I'm actually enjoying watching some of the Premiership games, they all seem to be taking points off each other

I think the Norwich, Leeds and Millwall teams from last season would've wiped the floor with us, Huddersfield, Southampton etc this year.
What logical reason is there for that? Norwich finished miles ahead so I can understand that, but Leeds & Millwall finished only slightly ahead of 4 other teams, 3 of which are challenging again this season.

Normally 90 points would gty you auto promotion, but I feel this year 85 or maybe a point or two less might be enough - thanks in part to the chasing pack, screwing up over recent weeks. A win tonight could leave us with less that 45 points required from 23 games

It certainly beats travelling all the way to bloody Gillingham week after week to sing "... by far the greatest team the world has ever seen".
Piss poor? You think one or two teams running away with it is good then? I'd say having so many good teams capable of beating each other makes it a superb league this year.
