For most (all?) of the teams it was a second home game in four days which will always be a hard sell for game-by-game supporters

I think the fixtures need sorting out.

And, locally, the trains. I caught the usual train and missed the start for the first time. (Just made it in time for the Ipswich match with later train.)

Either more people catch the trains now or the real crowd was a bit bigger than people think.

I heard that some people are parking near railways stations and catching the train in, something that might/should have obvious from the start.

what the ??? the East wasn't half empty (I was in it) and nor was the North. Probably about 21/22k I reckon
No and it doesn't look half empty on the few videos I've seen. It was very apparent that people had trouble with transport last night. The ground filled up well considering at kick off I would concede it did look half full.

The steward near us said they'd been told the real crowd would be around 24000.
