Lost.................

Top man. Thanks.

However after reading that I've lost interest in Lost and I'm now more interested in all that porn you mentioned (but not the child stuff obviously)

Just had a quick look and the Group with most files in is alt.binaries.pictures.erotica. It has 523686 files. alt.binaries.pictures.older-women has 156811. alt.pictures.erotica.transexual.action has 81696. Whatever is your bag!

Video wise, alt.binaries.multimedia.erotica has 29397 files.

Basically, an unlimited supply!

My favourite alt.binaries.tv has over 125000 files (Bear in mind, this is files - one episode can take 30 odd files). Mostly American stuff but some British as well.

question for techies then,

I downloaded season 1 of desperate housewives from Bearshare (took forever and a day)
after dumping it on a DVD i am unable to play it through a dvd player yet if i make the dvd as a video dvd (rather than data) i can only get 2 or 3 episodes per disk.

yet i brought all of lost series 1 through ebay and had 24 episodes on 2 disks

basically, how do you put shed loads of data onto a disk that will work in a dvd player,

Cheers

They will be in XVID or DIVX format. A bit like mp3's, it compresses the files down to a much smaller size - with a loss of quality (Not too bad though). You can get Lost down to 350MB meaning you can fit 12 on a 4.7GB DVD.

The same as mp3's, you can't play these files on a standard DVD Player the same as you can't put a CD with mp3's into most CD Players. You either need to install the DIVX (Or XVID Codec) on your PC and watch them on there or buy a DVD Player that supports DIVX and XVID. The one I have cost £40 from ASDA. You just slam the disk in and it gives you a file listing.

One thing to bear in mind is that some DIVX players won't let you fast forward or rewind whilst playing. Fine if you can watch it all in one go but not if you want to skip to a certain part. My LG HDD Recorder won't let me FF and Rew but my cheapie ASDA one does - go figure.

I was keeping up for a while! Can you do it for me, bring it round my house, put on my DVD player so I can watch it while you feed me mini chedders?
