So does that makes Man U destined for a crap season, Fergie clueless and miss-firing Rooney a liability?

Maybe they need a new striker too?

We played a lot better than them though!

I didn't watch this one but reading the review:

Everton hit the post twice, but I've read that's the same as missing by 40 yards so doesn't count.

Rooney (CMS) didn't come close to scoring, Nani (Nooney) got booked early and got taken off to stop him getting sent off.

Season over - Fergie out! Sell RVP as he clearly doesn't want to be there

But most people would agree that we DO need a new striker.

Fellaini was immense, Everton deserved it, but United looked so quick on the ball, one things for sure, if we do get promoted this year, we'll be needing to strengthen, a lot (IMO)

Well the title must be out of the're reach now, best they can hope for is a champions league place.

United (Brighton) went into the season needing another defender (forward), something they've not addressed yet.

Although 'their' no different, like us, they need to start accumulating points soon but with, in our case an initial 138 points up for grabs ( or 114 in the case of Premiership clubs), perhaps 'there' is no need to panic just yet.

Personally delighted that GP considered our first match was promising.

Agreed, Fellaini was outstanding and easily won them the game

Fergie (Poyet) has made mistakes and is out of his depth. What are we supposed to do, pretend he knows what he's doing when clearly we know more than him?

Kagawa looks a very decent player

I dunno if he's a premier league player yet. At one point he was on the edge of the six yard box, the ball was taken away from him, but howard had committed to the challenge and collided with him and Kagawa stayed on his feet instead of crumpling to the floor in supposed agony demanding a penalty and red card. He'll need to add that to his game...

United need midfielders. Nothing else. Scholes, Nani, Carrick etc are not good enough for the country's biggest and best club.

And defenders. Their whole squad has been kack for about three seasons. It's only Ferguson's brilliance that has dragged them into being a very hard outfit to beat.
