Dear sad Looney, owned multiple times on the same thread. It's like the good old days.

Join Date: Jun 2009

Fixed.

And how would you know you hopping midget with a Herman Munster forehead?

Ive had my say, left the Mods sniveling into their Horlicks and slapped a few of the Forum makeweights about like I'm Ten-tard bowling. Little else to be said here really, i'll leave the thread to the hangers on, straglers and others with thought processes as quick as treacle.

This thread will now lose its intellectual centre of gravity on which you thread leaches aspire to leghump, spinning out into a Universe of Stupidity, A solar Cistern and Milky Gay of utter pointlessness.

You see Looney, this is your problem. You think you are NSC's ultimate keyboard warrior, but everyone else thinks you are a deeply strange person. A string of random insults is no substitute for a proper argument.

It is nothing to do with that. The board is being monitored, there is potential litigation if the police take things further, which is costly in terms of time and money.

Under those circumstances what would you do?

If you are looking for someone to blame, have a go at the wanker who reported NSC to the ROZZERS, because if he/she/it had not done so, the thread would not have been closed.

Sorry but I don't believe for one second that this board is being 'monitored'!!

Do we REALLY think that PC Dibble is sitting there keeping an eye on NSC for any naughty comments?!

Of course they're not - and surely it's up to the mods to delete anything that crosses a sensible line/

In all the debates re Muslims/ BNP/ racism whilst a handful may have shown support for the BNP etc I dont think I saw one post that could be construed as overtly racist!!

I think you will find I said the board was being monitored, not that the police were monitoring it.

At mod HQ we didn't think anything overtly racist was being posted, but clearly the police took a different viewpoint.

Given that there seemed to be a disproportionate amount of threads about the BNP/Muslims a decision was taken to get rid of such topics, and make our lives a lot easier.

We all have full time jobs and this was a risk mitigation issue as much as anything. To be hones such threads were pretty tedious and boring anyway, as no one is ever going to give an inch on their viewpoint.

If you don't like it then fair enough, but NSC ain't a democracy, it's a Bozzocracy as he pays the bills!

What a pack of lies and gauling Hypocricy. The complaint was made over allegations of Pedophilia and yet you, bozza and the other mods were quite happy to let countless other allegations of pedophilia remain.

seems to me the police threat is a conveiniant excuse.
Just for the record (and I'm not sure whether anyone else has answered this, since I've been trawling through the whole thread and not yet read most of the later posts) ...

I wasn't referring to that episode at all. I was referring to a complaint made to the police (apparently by the Chief Executive of Lewes District Council), alleging harassment of Councillor Ann de Vecchi ... a complaint that, if upheld, could have led to the imprisonment of the poster concerned.

The point to be made today is that, once the complaint had been made, the police continued to monitor NSC, collecting "evidence" that was based solely on the fact that the moderators had not deleted posts made by other NSC users.

I must admit I find it amusing that some PC is at the computer monitoring this board collecting evidence.

It wasn't amusing at the time. Fuckwitted action by the police, maybe ... but not amusing.

Starts off as a nice little thread about free speech and the like and develops into this ..... a vicious attack upon our wonderful boys in blue.

Referenda by themselves are not a bad thing, the people have a chance to vote on important issues (although I'm surprised that minarets are considered such as important issue in Switzerland, but I digress). However, if referenda are few and far between they ultimately become a referendum on the government, especially if the government takes a stand. If its your first chance to vote for 3 or 4 years then an unpopular government takes the hit, whatever the merits of the issues under consideration. Its why local government elections should really take place at the same time as general elections, so that we can vote separately on local issues, not use the occasion as a chance to hit out at the government,

The Swiss have countless referendums on pretty much everything - or rather any issue that can gather 100,000 signatures for a referendum. Some Swiss find it all quite tedious.

The thing is there was a spike in the number of those threads because Griffin was on Question time. NSC has been much better after the crackdown, but the odd one here and there won't hurt, it's just when it's every day that it gets tedious.
Also I thought the police complaint coincided with a rise in comments about some chosen people of Israel
