He filled the huge indoor tent at the Cambridge Folk Festival in 1985 (or about 1985). It was a scream as he and his band were heavier than Black Sabbath at Birmingham Odeon in 1975 (a.k.a heavy), they blew the folkies and their accessorised beards out the back of the tent. I've seen several hundred bands but it is one of the most memorable sets I can remember. Rock Island Line opened up a bit like the start of 'Radar Love', crunching guitars, smoke, lights, drums and it just got heavier !!!

Made me realise that even though the technology may change "talent will always out" as Freddie Merc' once said.
