Maybe that result on Saturday was the wake up call that will force the board into making funds available. Skilful but flawed squad desperately needing cover in the areas that ALL of us have been highlighting since the start of friendlies.

I don't think its cover we need its competition, hawkins should have been rested and Cox and Murray probably need a few games on the bench (i am not getting at them, they are both quality) Ifill and another striker please

We need someone who can control the game a little better from the middle of the park, bring our wide players into the game and control the tempo.
The reason we are doing so well away from home is probably because as the away team we can sit and let the other side control the tempo of the game as most homes sides do. When we are at Withdean we don't seem to have any players capable of doing this.

whatever happens, we can only have emergency loans and that means we can only have them for 93days, which doesnt take us to the January transfer window, so we will miss these players in the Christmas period

Agree with others, Ifil and a striker is what we need. Hawkins needs a rest/time to recover from injury, but we have decent replacements there in Lynch (and why he didn't play on Saturday having been great in midweek really mystifies me).

I would definitely go for Carole and he is readily available without having to mess about with losing him at Christmas time. He can run with the ball and he puts the defence under pressure. Now is not the time to dither! We don't seem to have anyone that can panic the opposition.
