Rajiv Van La Parra wants to grab a “big chance” to end his Molineux nightmare by securing a permanent move to Albion from Wolves.
The 24-year-old Dutch winger is on loan to the Seagulls until January 2 after mysteriously falling out of favour under Kenny Jackett at Wolves.
“It’s up to me now and I want to take it with both hands. I want to work hard and make things possible.
“If I look at the moment at my situation at Wolves I don’t see it changing if I go back, so I want to do well for Brighton and see what else happens in January.
“You never know in football. He (Jackett) is not playing me now but I might go back in January and play a lot of games. If the situation is the same as it is now it wouldn’t be a good move for me to go back.”
Van La Parra, on target for Wolves against Albion at the Amex last season, is likely to be on the bench for Birmingham’s visit today.
