Marquez a bit unlucky to be penalised there, but that's life.

Hola, em dic Barrel of Fun. Estic borratxo !

My Catalan is somewhat limited (I'm working on it), so I'll settle for a very simple 'moltes gracies' and hope that makes sense. :)

If I'm right, that says "Hello, my name is/I am Barrel of Fun", but the second part eludes me just now.

Great recovery from Steve Finnan there.

Correct! Plus, I am drunk.

I went to Barcelona a couple of years ago and found it difficult to determine between Catalan and a 'regular' Spaniard. It was quite frustrating having a fair bit of Spanish, but being unable to communicate with various people. Particularly one chica, who was rather bonita. At least I think she was Catalan, she may have just been ignoring me.

A lot of the words are very similiar in Catalan and regular/Castilian Spanish, and a lot of the difference in pronounciation and writing seems to move in favour of a 'harder' (for want of a better way of putting it) pronounciation in Catalan.

Eg, the Barcelona player 'Xavi' is Catalan (full name Xavier Hernandez Creus), and the first syllable of his name is pronounced 'ch', whereas if he was Castilian Spanish, his full name would be more like Javier Hernandez Cruz, and the first syllable of Javier/Javi would be more like a 'sh'.

Do I detect some hint of mockery there, Mr. Potter?

Well, whether I do or not is irrelevant, and it is indeed looking like a very good night for English football.

With hindsight, just how costly was it when Ronaldinho hit the post?

Liverpool had a job to do, and they did it very well.

Emotional stuff at Anfield. Does any club have fans who celebrate as well as Liverpool? Fantastic 70's scarf waving euphoria. Brilliant
