Except that there is an entire thread full of evidence of these people thieving, trepassing and leaving behind unsanitory conditions. As I said on an earlier post I've met quite a few and one of them attempted to steal my mate's dog in Victoria Park. They also interupted my son's football club training when they were at Southwick Leisure Centre and caused so much disruption there that anti-caravan devices have now been installed.

I'm not bothered by the result of this one. It's the style of play and courage I'm intrigued by here. The way I'm playing is far more positive and brings excitement for the rest of the season.

Really? You need me to give you examples of of their foul behaviour, how about the time they robbed my late Grandfather house after he ( foolishly) paid some £200 to loo some trees in his garden?

Other times I've crossed paths with them they attacked me with a machete and chopped off one of my fingers. They're very rude when on holiday too. I know of 7 people who've all had their lives ruined by these vermin, scum of the world humans. They're goal objective is to ruin the lives of others. They have no emotions, no care and no love for anyone. In their spare time they worship the devil and stick needles into dolls. They kill baby rabbits for the joy of it and they cannibalise each other when worst comes to worst.

Prejudice is a bad thing, but it seems clear to me that many travellers just pitch up where they see fit at the expense of others. Surely they are breaking the law? That is not very nice behaviour and if they are foreign, they should either be charged or deported. Nothing to do with tarring a 'race' as these are Irish and almost no other Irish people behave like that. They have a very bad reputation in Ireland as well. I often agree with your posts but these travellers in Hove are indefensible.

Trouble is the police will only move them off their particular patch, just shoving the problem on to a neighbouring council and police force. What is really needed is a co-ordinated policy to keep them moving permanently (hopefully until they get fed up and bu88er off back to Ireland). Confiscating and immediately crushing any untaxed/unlicensed/uninsured vehicles would be a positive move too.

I've had this subhuman scum break in and pitch up illegally in a carpark near me a couple of times, and had the "pleasure" of observing (and hearing) them from fairly close at hand. They are completely feral. Shouting, swearing, openly defecating, fighting, getting pissed up, yelling at their kids, this happens at all hours of the day and night. The endless drone of running generators 24/7 drives you to distraction, and the scale of the filth they leave behind just has to be seen to be believed, from soiled nappies to endless bags, bottles and beercans strewn all over the place. And I mean piles and piles of it - quite literally shit everywhere.

The really worrying aspect is when they park their camper vans right up close to the 6ft garden fences, climb up onto to roofs and peer into peoples gardens - just an easy hop-over for them. I all but emptied my shed and stored everything of value I could indoors (golf clubs, tools etc) as I knew a padlock would be no match for them. And with the house being empty all day I'd leave the curtains drawn, but being sat at work knowing you've got a herd of seasoned thieves set up just a few yards away from your home is not a nice feeling.

Just vile people in my experience. The word antisocial doesn't even come close to covering it. Why they choose to behave like this is beyond my comprehension.

I agree, this problem has been going on for years and needs action taken at a National level. AFAIK councils only have limited powers. I really don't understand why there hasn't been trespass laws similar to the Irish ones put forward in parliament

Our human rights laws are used to the absolute max by travellers, their lawyers and (some) left wing luvvies who are obsessed with protecting them.

Not often known, but they also abuse restauranteurs and retailers. A Rottingdean barber cut the hair of a bunch of travellers, who at the end simply said to him “We’re not fuc*ing paying a penny, what ya going to do about it?”. Nothing, they won, again. They pile into local restaurants, eat loads then at the very end say we’re not paying, there was a hair in one of the dishes. Again nothing.

Not cowardice, but these animals are rarely challenged. A lifetime of violence, bare knuckle fighting, young kids taught to take and give punches, always in numbers .... the odds are stacked on their side.
