I still have every minute of the TV broadcast on tape. Can't play 'em over here though.

I might get it for the Tom Petty that the BBC so shamefully ignored (apart from the last part of Refugee I seem to remember).

But since Status Quo are on it and they were also awful that day, I'm not sure it is worth it.

Drive was just an accompoanying soundtrack to the video that was shown

But leaving it out is going to result in an interesting bit of editing as Bowie finishes "Heroes" and then introduces the video as "the reason why we are all here"................

I've got it all on cassette and there was some dreadful sound quality from some acts - Elton John & George Michael springs to mind........... (not suprising really given the technical complexity of the day) so proviing they haven't done too much re-mastering, I'll probably buy it..

i think Ferry's microphone gave out during it, so probably nothing much worth putting on the DVD
