My daughter was working in the kiosk tonight and had to leave early because of the disgusting sexist abuse she was getting from a gang of Littlehampton pricks. Picked her up in tears. Her friend had to have her break in a toilet because it wasn't safe. So angry. And yet her Sodexo supervisor didn't want to know.

Sorry to hear. They’ve got extensive form for being bellends so not exactly a surprise.

They certainly lived up to their reputation then. Actually more angry with Sodexo for doing f-all despite her telling security.
Totally unacceptable. Women and girls should not have to put up with this shit anywhere. At Albion's ground, with Albion's suppliers doing nothing about it, the club is implicated. I'd expect Paul Barber to be interested if you/she contact him.

Also Sussex FA should be told as it’s their big final.

I know Whitehawk fans have been complaining about them for many years

Sorry to hear this, totally unacceptable. Unfortunately there’s long been a nasty element to their support.

My dad used to take me to their games quite regularly as a kid in the late ‘80s early ‘90s, never any trouble. About 10-12 years ago I took my lad along on a sentimental trip one Saturday. Never again, half the fans were tanked up and creating a really nasty atmosphere. Even the manager got in on the act, sprinting over to one of the linesman at one point, getting right in his face and having to be dragged away. We walked the long way around and left early.

Shocking. Sorry to hear this.

Feel sorry for the few non bellends in their crowd.
As one of the 'few' non-bellends, I can only sympathise with anyone who suffered abuse tonight. There's no denying that a large number of pondlife associate with my local club, which is a real shame as the fans and officials who I know are decent people. I didn't experience anything particularly OTT this evening, but it doesn't surprise me to hear that it happened. I've lived in LA all my life; it's a lovely place full of non-lovely people these days, unfortunately.

Do the bellends outnumber the decent folk? If so, sounds like a big problem. If not, are the decent folk able to self-police, so to speak?

There are a handful of regulars who push the boundaries of what is acceptable, but it reaches a whole new level when the team gets a 'big day out'. Everyone comes out of the woodwork; it's probably expecting a bit much for for a disparate group of regular supporters to control the idiots amongst them who have nothing to lose by acting up. It's not like they'd care if they were banned from home games, for example. I know it's on a completely different scale, but some of the behaviour I've seen from England fans whilst travelling the world watching the national team is, at best, embarrassing. But I'm not about to risk life and limb by challenging them. At the risk of hiding behind a cliche, it's a societal problem.

There are some really awful people in LA and I know they would happily take on everyone from Whitehawk but not everyone is awful in LA. It's appalling to hear anyone being treated in the way the OP described and I hope that the situation is appropriately dealt with. Issues like this cannot be swept under the carpet.
