I suspect Tony Bloom and Daniel Levy may well be social friends and possibly linked in business too, so now we have a decent stadium and are playing championship football I think we can expect some quality loan players wanting to come here for first team football and with Gus's links to Spurs too, I think their players will be top of the list.

I mentioned on the thread on our bid for the WHU keeper Boffin that Zigor was at the friendly between Tottingham and West Ham last Wednesday and was keeping tabs on a couple of their youngsters so wouldn't be at all surprised.

Yes but nothing to do with stereotyping, I have some Jewish friends in London and there is a close bond between them, especially the business community.

I knew a Jew once who wore one of those funny hats -------------- but we weren't friends.

It's called a yamulka or kippah (pronounced kee-pah rather than like a fish) and it is worn as a reminder that the divine presence/fear of heaven is always above you. It can be worn all the time but only has to be worn for prayers.

It would hardly be surprising if Bloom and Levy knew each other obviously and if it helps oil the wheels just a little then why not? But I do think that Gus will shop where he wants to - he clearly has equally strong links with Chelsea for example - rather than where he is told to by his chairman (and I don't for a second think that TB would give any such instructions)

What are the big hats they wear called they look like a cross between a trilby and top hat and seen in prominence around Stamford Hill, Finchley etc usually worn with a long black coat.

Erm...... wasn't there a link with a manager, or something?

That would be enough on its' own to warrant a connection - but TB probably also has a few Spur-supporting mates as there are LOADS in the area
