I quite like that Co Op flag

I was actually looking at the Co op banner trying to work out what their cryptic message to the Gas Heads was. I didnt see the painting of the pirate ship, it looks like a five year olds entry on Take Hart.

Had a txt from my Gas mate this morning who told me there was some dancing in a Lincoln Pub last night between the two sets of Fans ,suprised me as Rovers only took 200.

Take the piss all you want, those "ultras" make more noise than our 23+ thousand fans at home. Went to the City v Grimsby derby. One of the best atmospheres I've heard. Most of them are young too and are trying to create an atmosphere and support their team.

Not surprising as I think the Codheads have 38 with FBO , some of them a second or third time ban. Cleethorpes Beach Patrol don't like sand kicked in their face.

If anything's become more inevitable than us being shit in recent years it's that we'll have more than our fair share of banning orders. We somehow managed to rack up something like the second or third highest number in the country back in 2010, although that did include our relegation from the football league at Burton which did get a bit, erm, messy.

Not sure how we manage it to be honest, there are barely any away fans to fight in the conference.

Was at Lincoln myself for the derby - the 'ultras' were flaunting their usual 'Don't bomb Iraq, nuke Grimsby' banner. Of course, a nuke dropping on Grimsby probably wouldn't be great news for the people of Lincoln, but since they'd manage to colour it in all by themselves it seemed a shame to point that out.

Having been to both Lincoln and Grimsby 5 times with Aldershot over the years ,i have to say both places are pretty lively .In 88 we relegated Grimsby to the 4th Division last day of the season and fun and games were plentiful.Lincoln we relegated from the Football league in 2011 and then had to spend the night keeping our wits about us moving from pub to pub.

One positive to nuking Grimsby is the strontium 90 from the radioactive fallout will add £50k to the value of my house.
