I said similar on another thread a couple of days ago. They are only interested in buying instant success so the likes of Bridcutt will never be given an opportunity to break into the first team at Chelsea. Their narrow minded stupidity is great for clubs like ours-we get Liam Bridcutt for free and he is now worth a decent amount of money to us. Long may their stupidity continue.

Wasn't he on loan at Yeovil? Seem to recall he wasn't rated that highly - credit must go to Gus I reckon; similar affect to that on ElAbd and maybe Dunk too
