I have managed to find a 26 inch digital LG TV, for 300 quid. Seems like a good deal.

Are LG a good/reliable brand? TV has good reviews.

Thanks.

I've got a 42" flat screen LG. My only complaint is that unless you are sitting far enough away when the camera moves across the football or rugby pitch at speed it goes a bit blurry. Seems fine from further back though.

Cheers all. As long as they are reasonably good and reliable, I'm happy with that.

I heared once that Lucky Goldstar are a central manufacturer for TV screens that find their way into the very best sets. It probably just the supporting electronics that is less sophisticated.

LG and Samsung make some obscene percentage of all LCD panels for everything - think its in the 80%-90% range.

I have an LG washer drier, it is excellent at cleaning and drying my clothes...but has a very poor picture!
