The official website says he is still suspended for another 2 games, but the argus is saying he is available for saturday, anyone know which is which? I always thought a straight red brought an automatic 3 match ban?

1 man ban I thought for bringing last man down. 3 match ban for violent conduct?

Good spot OP, funny the club don't know how long a ban is.

Someone give Gus a call, he may appreciate the heads up!

hope they check
would hate to win the game then lose the points for fielding an ineligable player ???

Hopefully it won't come to that as El-Abd should be first choice!

El Abd is rightly first choice anyway (as he is miles ahead of Dunk at current) so doesn't really make a difference anyway.

I wouldn't say El-Abd is miles ahead of Dunk, Dunk is perfectly acceptable deputy at present but given the difference in age Dunk is surely going to go on to be a better player, IMO of course.

was it Hartlepool who fielded an ineligable player against us a few years ago and caused Gus to complain that they got let off too lightly?

When judging a player on merit to play this weekend age and potential shouldn't come into the reckoning, selection should be based on current form and ability. Many players never reach their anticipated potential, not that I think that Dunk will fall into that category, but at the moment he is way behind both El Abd and Greer.
