On to the original topic, apparently (not seen them for myself) but there are notices all over town saying that if you're caught drinking on the streets, it'll be confiscated !!!

It's being infested by feral chavs who drink Carlsberg in the street and lob bangers at random innocent people in the street. Aforesaid feral chavs will of course be the only ones dumb enough to have their alcohol confiscated in the street.

Sounds like just what we did when we were young other than it was Strongbow in quart bottles.

It is a great scectacle, everyone should should see it once. After all it is the biggest torchlight procession in Europe.
