I largely agree with that. However, what makes me think otherwise – regardless of manager – is the way that Chelsea were apparently prepared to offload Gallagher, who was seen as integral to the squad a few months ago.He'll start for Chelsea next year.
Also, because Chelsea Todd has an interesting approach to transfer business, Colwill – who isn't a big name or been signed for an astronomical fee – might become surplus to requirements. But maybe that's all wishful thinking. Either way I reckon Potter will still be there next season, with a squad that competes on all fronts. He didn't become a bad manager overnight and, given it took him a bit of time here to get it right, I think he's in it for the long-term (or at least the medium-term!).
