I think its important to bear in mind that all letters to Prescott need to focus specifically on the glaring inaccuracies of Hoile's report. We don't want to lose sight that the ODPM is "seeking comments from all interested parties on the report by the Local Planning Inspector" - so piece by piece, Hoile's assertions needs to be systematically dismantled. That has to be the main thrust of the letters going to Prescott.

- The site is too small
- It is not in the National interest
- Other sites have not been properly considered (Brighton Station, Sheepcote Valley and Withdean)
- There is no demonstrable need for a new stadium
- The project would require additional peripheral facilities to be built in order to fund itself
