And the point in doing that is what exactly?

I am so fed up with all the shenanigans over Falmer that I could not work out what it meant.

As Martin Perry said, it is just "unhelpful".

The die has already been laid by the Public Inquiry.

Best treated as a consolation goal by the opposition when you are 3-0 up at half time (tell that to Jermain Defoe) and unlikely to influence the result.

My immediate reaction was how to hell could a local Inspector come up with a recommendation like that in direct conflict with what we know and what the planning team at Brighton Council must have receommended. The answer may lie in the lobby who wrote in objecting about the local plan. Presumably, the Inspector was swayed by the local objectors and nobody or few people on the side of the Albion made their comments about the Local Plan (I live outside the Local Plan area but I still have the huge folder of Brighton & Hove local plan which does not actually give much mention to the Falmer site. )

Sorry but none of this b*llocks is acheiving anything. There is a report which has points that need explicit and formal response to manage the risk of them having an impact on a decision. Assess the risk, is the report of significance? Yes, therefore address the immediate risk, not by protest or debate, but by explicit response to follow up the report - formal counter argument submission. This has to be done by the club, whoever submitted the proposal, or us - we get a legal bod to do the business quickly.
