Steady Fake, you'll only confuse people if you start talking about a world that exists outside of the Tabloids.

To be fair we can't have a situation when people can hijack a plane, and as a country are not able to deport back to their country. We should be within our rights to order their deportation.

To deter hijacking and international terrorism, individuals should not be rewarded with leave to remain in the UK, that is just plain madness. By all means apply for asylum, but follow the correct routes, rather than 'take' a plane!

I think the emphasis, in this case, must be made that it is totally unacceptable/illegal to hijack a plane. Sure, there are no perfect measures to deal with these problems.

I tend to agree that we should have stuck with our human rights act and not adopted european policies.

The act does have some very important notions though. Rights to liberty and security etc.

I do feel it is important to assist people who have their lives threatened for whatever reason.
