No, I'm converted by LI and The Large One, they're right. As a fan it's good to know that the Albion will be the first club in British football history where results don't determine or affect in the slightest the managers future, and where playing in any division doesn't affect the value of the club or the players

We're also the first British club to have totally united board and playing staff with no dissent whatsoever. Everybody is happy on the Good Ship Albion and everything is perfect in the rose-tinted world of LI and The Large One.

Everything. Did everybody here get that?

Was this the same source that told you that we trained one day a week, something that you faithfully repeated on here? :)

It was a JOKE between UB and I about John Crumplin (You wont remember him).

I KNOW we dont train once a week, but when a senior player tells someone that we dont train enough at a sponsors dinner then you have to raise an eyebrow.

*sigh*

Leave it. Steve will use any comment to try and have a go, just like pretending to ignore those that use insults and ridicules, before belittling and insulting people.

Steve, you drinking round London Bridge on Saturday?

My god, you and Rougvie can dish it out but can't take it when someone answers you back, can you?

Not sure about Saturday, but I'll definitely be in the Globe tonight, maybe the Wheatsheaf or the Porter if you fancy buying me a drink ;)

No need to be so bitter Pavilionaire. What did you think of GNW's comments in the Argus today? Surely more evidence that team spirit is pretty good at the Albion?

You think? :)

Anyways, what did you think of GNW's comments in the Argus? I'm not quite sure how much you buy into this view that team spirit is bad under McGhee?

I know you're not talking to me but I would take players and managers comments with as much salt as I take comments on here.

Doesn't stop me enjoying the rumour mill though.

I'll see your Brighton & Hove Albion of today, and raise you a Manchester United 1986-91.

There you go again, I think if you check back, certainly Piers and my recent posts (I know thats a favourite hobby of yours) not EVER once have either of us stated that there is a bad team spirit, but put a spin on it like your 'New' Labour mates like to do (like yesterday trying to cover up the deepcut shootings by blaming it on the soldiers upbringings) you would make a great Labour MP (pity, a bit like McGhee everyones patience is finally running out with their feeble excuses).

Falling out with individuals then trying to score points over them is not great man-management, but where you get this idea that either of us have said team spirit is bad is just another one of your LIES. (Although granted lying has become an official pastime under Labour)

What an utterly incoherent rant. How did we end up at Deepcut from team spirit at the Albion via New Labour? And me, such a renowned New Labour/Blair supporter? Jesus, Rougvie, get a grip.

It was precisely because I couldn't remember if you or Bucky bought into the theory about "bad team spirit" at the Albion, so often mentioned by the stoopid kids on here, that I asked the question - I am interested in just how far you are prepared to go in your frequent badmouthing of McGhee.

Not too far is seems. Fine, you accept that there are not great problems with team spirit at the Albion. Very wise fella!

And fear not, I fully accept that you are realistic enough to realise he is going to be the manager here for a fair while yet.

Is a player who could be looking for a new club going to have a go at a club that paid a fee for him to take him on loan going to take a swipe at the club?

And crowds wont drop while playing the likes of Yeovil on a wet tuesday night, due to albion fans not being fickle....

Nah he'd make a point about team spirit being good rather than just say he'd do his best in difficult circumstances, which would have probably been the case if team spirit was shit
