The truth is that it seemed fine until Palace absolutely owned us with it. The few dissenters on here then went into overdrive on here and the sad thing is that this snowballed until we collectively took the decision that "oh well, it's a crap faux Euro typical Palace chant, and we didn't like it anyway". Yet when we went to Selhurst in midweek we saw a more true reflection of Palace's wanky support. Barely heard them, unsurprisingly seeing as there were f*** all people in the home ends because the Albion match wasn't a groupon game. What, you think it looks good to the rest of the ground when about 20 people attempt to sing it and no one joins in because it's shit? You think it creates atmosphere? You think it looks intimidating to the away fans?... Each to their own I guess but the only thing that drivel is to the majority of adult fans I travel with is embarrassing.
Quite clearly, Palace fans only sang it loud at the Amex because it was their cup final. Their support is normally f***ing shit with bells on. Too bad we've let these no mark Nigels dictate what we should and shouldn't sing.
