Pppppppllllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaasssssssssssssseeeeeeeee Mr McGhee can we have him. If there is any other player that is perfect foil for Leon i cannot think of one.

We would win the league without any trouble with those two leading the line.

You are only saying that because legend has it, he is only an inch behind Rougier in the trouser stakes......he's a one-footer!

I think it's a distinct possibility.

The evidence.

He went to Millwall 2 seasons ago, under MM. 2 years later, surely dropping one further division isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

So he's playing centre-half at the moment, that can't be a long-term plan for Villa. It's come about by injuries and the ousting of Alpay. Once the transfer window opens Villa are definately out there for a centre-half or two.

With David O'Leary's love of buying players, he'll be nowhere near the team by Feb.

He can play centre-half, but he is really a forward, and almost certainly wants to get back to playing there.

Always comes across as a man who loves the game and will always play as long as he can physically do it. Started at Cambridge and will almost certainly drop back down the division to finish off his days.

Normally I slag these posts off because they're saying we should sign players who would be useless for us but just happen to be available (e.g. Mark Robins)

However - good call Chappers. Dublin would be ideal, a sort of Rougier with ability.

He would be splendid at this level, the perfect foil for Leon.

However, he's probably on £25k a week, so not frigging likely....

The club taking a player on loan doesn't necessarily pay a set % of his wage, it depends on the particular deal that's done. If Villa want him to stay match fit in case they need him back later, then they may well just let us have him for a nominal amount.

Millwall are flat broke, there is no way they were paying him much 2 years ago.

Why does dion have such a large member? Is it because it keeps on dublin and dublin?

he wouldnt be allowed to come here, o learey said in the paper the other day 95% of clubs who ask to loan a player ask for dublin and he doesnt want to let him go.
plus he is playing well at the moment
