If McCammon suddenly learns to pass, shoot and not fall over then I will run naked across the pitch at half time.

Did you ever see John Crumplin play Richie? If you'd said the same thing about him you would have ended up streaking across the pitch at the Goldstone!!

Different case, Crumplin started at right midfield and looked iffy. When he was moved to right back he found his niche and looked decent.

Supermarket Trolley is playing in his alledged natural position of striker. Now if we have an opening for an oaf....

EXACTLY!

The people who moaned about Currie (I was not one of them) did so because he was so obviously not fit.

Within a couple of games he was fitter and his skill and class began to show.

With McCammon it is not whether he gets fitter or not because even if he would run a marathon he would still not be able to shoot.

didnt say it made him a good player!!!!!!!

i'm willing to give him a chance mcghee never said that he was technically the greatest but has obviously seen something that he can work with, i would rather accept and trust Mcghee with regards to signing a striker rather then you..give the lad a chance make him welcome and see what happens...

He has already been playing for us and done very well at falling over, dribbling..sorry miscontroling the balla number of times...out of touch and not being able to shoot.

McGhee saw the same at Millwall and did not manage to get the best out of him.

when Mcghee signed him for millwall he was fit and broke into the Millwall and finished with 7 goals in something like 18 games he then picked up a serious knee injury and was out for the rest of the season broke back into the team...Mcghee then left wise didn't play him...with reagrds to fitness i would he can only improve with games at 6ft 5 and 14 stone i would you need to be playing week in week out to maintain match fitness.....

Look we all no he ain't the greatest Mcghee no's what he is doing give the lad a chance when he signs and lets see if he improves...

Richie, every single user on NSC is totally aware of your opinion of Mark McCammon despite him not being fit or having a decent run in the team, so why dont you do us all a favour and button it. The worst case of a broken record I have ever seen.

Can you really not understand why Mcghee wants him, considering the budget problems we have? Do you really know so little about football?

What happened to your rant about dissing peoples views????

Well Ritchie is like most with a left wing leaning, he believes in democracy as long as you agree with him.

I hope he does prove me wrong.

I will continue to get behind him at games because he is a Brighton player.

I also know the arguments behind signing him but just feel there are far better players then him that could do this for us.

How come all the comments are directed at me and not the countless other NSC posters who have said EXACTLY the same as me about McCammon?

Not having a decent run in the team. He played all of the games he was available for us during his loan spell, apart from Spurs and he was a sub against Sheffield United. He should be match fit after that and yet he is not.

If you think he is half decent, then I would question how much you actually know about the game.

I really think McCammon is one of those players who enables other players in the team to perform their roles more effectively. I think that is why McGhee has signed him.
