The under achiever says in the Argus, "I heard Brighton were interested, but Reading are a bigger club."

Shows that he learnt nothing about us while he was here.

If he gets a game tomorrow, (which I doubt), then, "Stayed with a big club" should be loud & clear.

Or, "2 games for Leicester, you managed 2 games for Leicester!"

Knob!!!

Surely Reading are a bigger club at the moment? Bigger ground, bigger crowds, bigger squad, bigger wages.

Of the two clubs, I would say that Brighton have the bigger long-term potential, but as things stand at the moment Reading are obviously the bigger club.

"Big Time Charlie regrets comments about his former club prior to the game"

Speaking from his hospital bed Paul 'What the f***-you want me to tackle?" Brooker said to Seagulls World "I just wish Charlie Oatway and Danny Cullip remembered that we were team-mates once. That double tackle really really hurt you know".

It wont get to a dlouble tackle one hard tackle in the first few minutes and he will bottle it as usual.

After 5 mins you could tell whether he would have a good game or not.

If I was a manager playing against Paul Brooker I would say hit him hard early on and let him know that you mean business. He will then hide away. Good player when he was good but had no bottle when the going got tough.

Brooker will probably get taken off at half time because the oranges were too sour & made his throat hurt.

Sadly for Brooker there are enough players in the current Albion squad who know EXACTLY what is needed to put him off his game. If McGhee doesn't tell somebody to slow him down then I hope Charlie, Danny or Kerry will remind them all.

Get it right. He will have broken one of his manicured finger nails.

This is bollocks. You can't blame him for joining Reading. They have a superb stadium, he's probably on 4 grand a week and I don't see how you can possibly say they're not a bigger club than us at the moment. But even that is besides the point: quite simply he got a better offer. Shout abuse at him if you want but for me you're being small minded.

This isn't a :bounce: everybody; just answering a question!

Firstly, couldn't let Brooker have it really as he didn't get on, (suprise!)

Secondly, that is the 1 & only Pandora Peaks!

Brooker has taken the easy option. He didn't feature last season and there is a good chance he will only feature this season because of injuries. He's probably getting better money but if he'd come back here he'd be a regular. Does money take precedence over professional pride and job satisfaction as well?

Surely 1st team football is what a professional should want. Maybe we are lucky he didn't choose us as half hearted contributions won't help us this season.

Then again maybe he thinks he's good enough to hold a regular place at Reading.
