So it goes on. When he sacked Roeder, the chairman of West Ham started a chain reaction that seems to have no end.

I empathise with the guy enormously but really he must be aware of the fact that football is a business. We've had countless threads here on the subject - suffice to say constant loyalty is only shown by the fans and we cannot and should not expect any different.

Thing is we cannot moan like we all did at Reading and then go and do the same thing.

And I know Madjeski was hypocritical etc but we will be guilty of doing the same thing - leaving another club without a manager.

In reality, if you were offered a better job, better money and better prospects are you going to decline for loyalty to your existing employers.

BOLLOX! The only loyalty given as per the above is the Fans. Tp players and managers alike it is a job and that is all!

 :clap2:

I feel for him, and sincerely hope we do NOT poach someone else's manager.

I'm sure someone has already asked this, and somone else has answered it - but I haven't seen it (and it's not on this thread) so could somebody please help me:

1. Didn't DK say that he wouldn't appoint a manager who was under contract to another club? (Think it was the Anus which said this)

2. Isn't Rosenoir under contract at Torquay? If so, what make anyone think DK intends to go back on his decision?

Thank goodness for a bit of realism. Managers come and go - all I want from them is decent football and decent results....oh, and the Championship of course:D

Crikey, he's a bit worked up innit.

I don't want us to take him even though i reckon he would be class.

What's he getting worked up about - it won't be Rosenior.

After having a luchtime pint at the Sportsman today I saw one recently sacked Jocko manager leaving the car park. Maybe he just came for a game of squash ?

I hope we don't poach another team's manager.

Because Roeder wasn't up to the job at West Ham, a string of other clubs have to :censored: suffer!

West Ham take Reading's manager!
Reading take ours!
We take Torquay's?
Torquay take Crawley's?
Crawley take Burgess Hill's?
Burgess Hill take Whitehawk's?
Whitehawk take Leyton Orient's?

Where does it all end?

(Ok last line wasn't 100% true as Orient don't have a permanent manager at the moment but you get the gist).
