According to the Club site, the reserves are to play a friendly at Littlehampton. Amongst a number of the first team squad involved is Leon Knight. I wonder what he thinks about that? ???

Lets's hope he thinks that the manager is making him play it because he hasn't been scoring and this is a chance for him to do so.

If he takes it as extra match practice for a pro footballer short on goalscoring form then all well and good. If he takes it as anything other than that then he really does have an attitude problem.

Forgive my sizeism but I can't think of a more apt place for him to play.

Seriously though I like to think that he'll come back and score a hatful of goals when he gets his chance in the first team again after such an experience. Good to see McGhee not pulling any punches.

Virgo is apparently in the squad too. I wonder what position he will be playing, if at all.

Maybe McGhee is thinking of dropping him back into central defence for Saturday?

It is a benefit match for Hinshelwood's son who was badly injured so I suppose the club think it is the decent thing to do, to put out a few first teamers.

Goals from Virgo (playing at centre half with a screamer from five yards out of the box), Leon Knight, Maheta Molango (gorgeous header) and Jakey.

Solid enough performance, full management team in attendance (including Mark McGhee).

Dont know if it has any relevance to Saturday but Jarrett only had a short run out at the end.

Also no sign of Simon Rodger.

A Molango header? BLIMEY :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

When is Virgo going to score a boring goal?

:lolol: genius!

Personally good stuff, McGhee laying down the law and saying "SCORE DAMN YOU!", if Leon chucks his toys out then sell him to Reading for a cool £1m :smokin:
