If he wasn't such a chippy unpleasant little toe-rag you'd have to feel some sympathy for him. He should still really be scoring goals in at least League One if he was fit and motivated, loads of ability.

But he just could never accept his lot or get his head round the fact that he wasn't playing in the Premier League or on PL money, and blamed everyone and everything else for all the things that went wrong in his career. Definite sociopathic tendencies.

As far as I can recall the only time he apologised about anything was for saying he hoped Brighton went down in a fit of pique after leaving, which to be fair he has done several times.
