Money is apparently quite tight there now. Sven wasted it and their owners are not going to plough any more money into them so they need to offload players on loan to get the wage bill down including Beckford.

Do we think Gus will still want to sign another striker now our's are firing and we've signed Dobbie?

nope. I think Gus' aim all along was to find a similar player to CMS to partner up front, fast & mobile, and have a more inventive midfield. That way the game is still played along the ground and through the defence. Now he has both CMS & Dobbie to play this way.

What will be interesting is if he plays them both at the same time....

If the team continues to play as they are, creating lots more chances & attempts on target, then I'd be surprised if he then brought in a big man on loan.

Leicester replica shirts obviously not the hot item in BKK airports they hoped they'd be.

My mate is a Leics supporter and says they ain't got a pot to piss in by comparison with recent seasons, appears the new owners might have had enough. He reckons they are down to the bare bones in defence and is not optimistic about making any progress this season

Also reckons Beckford is gash, we wouldn't want him

I thought Gus made it clear he is still after a target man (on loan now, I guess)?

It's crazy isn't it? You buy a packet of fags and a bottle of booze, then there's a whole Leicester city section in the airport. No one goes near it.

Now if they were red...Are they next?

Dobbie has been brought in to play the Vicente role - that's my take on what Gus has said anyway

Dobbie isn't a similar player to CMS at all, Dobbie likes to play behind the striker and find openings for himself or other players.
