I have to say, the only problems I have with Reading are:
1. The poxy one way system.
2. The percentage of ginger people in the town (way too high)
3. Shit service and shit food in every single place I've eaten.

Reading? Couldn't care less about them as a club. I don't even care that much about how much success Coppell has there, as long as you don't get promoted - a chance to repeat last season's win at the MadStad would be thoroughly enjoyed.
Palace are the scum. Cardiff come second for me, far far ahead of Reading, but still nowhere near Palace.

Palarse are our arch rivals, Reading aren't. Most people hate Palarse more than Reading, which is understandable. But Reading have done much more harm to us than Palarse have. When they did hurt us last year it was purely on the football pitch. Our rivalry with Palarse is good for both clubs as it generates public interest, competiveness and gives the fans something to look forward to. Reading, on the other hand, poach our manager, players, and will always hamper any chance of future success until we get Falmer.

The main point that smears reading is that the club has been cherry-picking from Brighton. Knowing that we aren't able to afford to offer high wages to managers, the ONLY WAY reading could succeed over us in football was by talking away decent loaners we had as prospective Albion players, trying to tempt away our top players or at least distract them with rumoured interest like they did with Cullip, and finally buying away our manager.
Have reading been any different to any other club buying players and getting successful managers (?) I hear these reading fans ask (because they are obviously too dense to figure it out), YES, because after being humiliated on the pitch and dominated in the league when we were deserved CHAMPIONS (which, at the time, was practically denied by reading - they couldn't admit to being spanked, just like chesterfield the season before), reading basically focussed way too much on our financial weaknesses and gave way too much attention to our assets . Chelski cherry-pick their players from all over the Premier Division, reading focussed on Brighton (just like their supporters still are)
Ok, so now reading have succeeded in buying our mantle, history will not show their name on the Championship, but they no longer care because they are trying for the Prem and we are struggling to get back to the 1st Division - which looks unlikely now because Copout was the best chance we had. We fought to keep Brighton in the league, we did incredibly well to stay alive and afloat, we did unbelievably well to win TWO CHAMPIONSHIPS on the trot, and eventually reading come along and say "they are doing great, because of their modest status we can probably outbid them for their best footballing assets and get the sort of unlikely success they have had by doing it"
